Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton School - Choosing Love Like Jesus

SPRING 2026 CCS NEWSLETTER

At Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton School, the beginning of the year has been filled with faith-filled learning experiences, joyful traditions, and opportunities to serve others.

Catholic Schools Week gave us a wonderful excuse to celebrate our “Snow Many Blessings.” Students and staff enjoyed a GLOW party, pretend snowball fights, relay races, and a talent show, creating a week of fun, connection, and inspiration.

With incredible participation and a strong show of support, the Catholic United Financial Raffle raised over $11,000 for the school. This goes a long way towards supporting our mission!

In February, with plenty of snow still on the ground, fifth graders spent three days at the Long Lake Conservation Center, learning about wildlife, conservation, and environmental stewardship while participating in team-building activities, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and star-gazing. These overnight experiences have been a tradition at SEAS for more than 25 years, emphasizing connection, exploration, and hands-on learning.

During I Love to Read Month, students immersed themselves in The Very, Very Far North by Dan Bar-el, following the adventures of Duane the polar bear and her arctic friends. Hallways were filled with student artwork and lively “Arctic Chatter” as students shared observations, connections, and reflections on the story.

Kindergarteners proudly led their first school Mass on February 25, taking their first steps into active ministry and demonstrating the beauty of simple, pure faith.

Our school Lenten theme is “Kindness Crusaders: Choosing Love Like Jesus.” Each week our students have worked on a different mission to make the classrooms, school, and community, and world a better place. Students packed snack bags for residents at St. Benedict’s Senior Care and Living Community, with younger students decorating and older students packing and praying over the gifts for delivery during Holy Week.

Through these shared experiences—faith-filled celebrations, hands-on learning, reading adventures, and service projects—SEAS students continue to grow in knowledge, compassion, and connection to God and community.
