David Fremo, President

Hello! I’m David Fremo and I have served as President of CCS since January 2024. With over 20 years in Catholic education, I’ve been blessed to work in many roles including: teaching, faith formation, administration, and consulting. As a student myself, I have graduate degrees in theology and educational leadership from St. John’s University and Creighton University, and I am currently finishing my doctorate in leadership at the University of St. Francis.

My passion in this work is in growing the footprint and impact of Catholic education here in central Minnesota. I’m dedicated to energizing our mission, supporting our teachers and staff, and making our schools more accessible for all students and families. I am committed to see that students experience excellence in learning, personal growth, moral development, and service. Above all else, Catholic education is all about students encountering Jesus through their studies, activities, and relationships.

Having grown up in central Minnesota, I’m deeply committed to giving back to the community that has always been my home. In my free time, I love making music, cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with my family.
