Welcome to Cathedral
Cathedral School in St. Cloud, Minnesota, delivers a comprehensive, faith-based, academically vibrant middle and high school education.

Middle School at Cathedral
We understand that Middle School is an integral turning point in a child’s educational journey. From 6th through 8th grade, students learn more about who they are, how they interact with others, where they find inspiration, and how they in turn act as role models for others as a living example of Christ’s love. At Cathedral, we guide our middle school students through this process of self-discovery and development by encouraging independence while fostering responsibility and relationship. We engage the inquisitive minds of middle school students by calling on their natural curiosity through hands-on, active learning, while developing critical thinking, collaboration, communication and problem solving skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
Social-Emotional Learning
At Cathedral Middle School, we focus on the social/emotional well being of our students at a time where they are expanding their social spheres and awareness of themselves and others. Cathedral takes our role as guide very seriously in helping students to make healthy choices, handle stressful and/or novel experiences, and learn to engage with peers in person and online in safe, respectful and empowering ways. Our teachers are specially trained to help students navigate the world through social media, online forums, evolving friendships, peer interactions, adult-student relationships, and relationships to self with confidence and support.
