Saint Joseph School: End-of-Year News

Summer 2026 CCS Newsletter

As the school year came to a close, St. Joseph Catholic School celebrated many opportunities for students to grow in faith, serve others, and strengthen their school community.

One highlight was a school-wide service project held on April 1, when students packaged 4,752 meals to help combat food insecurity. Through this hands-on experience, students learned the importance of serving others and putting their faith into action.

For Earth Day, several students had the opportunity to help return koi fish to the pond near the school, partnering with the College of Saint Benedict in a memorable moment that connected learning, stewardship, and care for creation.

We were proud to celebrate our second grade students as they received their First Holy Communion. This important milestone in their faith journey was a joyful occasion for students, families, teachers, and our parish community. We continue to pray that they grow ever closer to Christ through the Eucharist.

St. Joseph Catholic School was blessed to welcome grandparents and special friends for a day of faith, fellowship, and fun during our Grandparents and Special Friends Day celebration. Students shared their classrooms, introduced guests to teachers and friends, and created meaningful memories together. We are grateful for the love, support, and wisdom these special people bring to our school community.

The final weeks of school were filled with fun, creativity, and school spirit. Students and staff alike enjoyed themed celebration days, a teamwork and friendly competition-filled Field Day, and Super Kids Day for Kindergarteners, highlighting their hard work and growth in reading throughout the year.

As we said goodbye to our graduating 5th grade class, we couldn't be more proud of the young people they have become. We celebrate not only their accomplishments in the classroom, but also the faith, friendship, leadership, and service they have demonstrated during their time at St. Joseph School. We are grateful to have been part of their journey and look forward to all they will accomplish in the years ahead.
