System-Wide Cognia Accreditation

Catholic Community Schools has officially earned Cognia Accreditation as a full school system, marking an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to educational excellence and continuous improvement.
The accreditation, awarded in June 2026, recognizes Catholic Community Schools as a unified system and reflects the collective work taking place across all of our schools. Rather than evaluating individual schools in isolation, system-wide accreditation looks at how our schools work together to create strong learning environments, support educators, develop effective leadership, and help students grow and succeed.
Throughout the 2025–26 school year, CCS educators and leaders participated in an extensive accreditation process that included self-assessment, surveys of staff and families, examination of system practices and student learning, and an external Engagement Review conducted by a Cognia review team.
The process gave CCS an opportunity not only to demonstrate the work already happening throughout our schools, but also to reflect honestly on our strengths and identify opportunities for continued growth.
Cognia evaluates schools and systems according to rigorous performance standards centered around four key characteristics: Culture of Learning, Leadership for Learning, Engagement of Learning, and Growth in Learning. Accreditation signifies that CCS meets these standards and has demonstrated a commitment to ongoing improvement.
For our families and community, Cognia Accreditation provides an external mark of quality and confidence in Catholic Community Schools as a whole. It recognizes the shared standards, leadership, professional learning, and instructional practices that connect our schools while supporting the unique communities within them.
Most importantly, this achievement belongs to the educators, leaders, staff, students, and families who make up Catholic Community Schools. The work undertaken through accreditation has strengthened collaboration across our system and helped establish a clearer picture of where we are, where we want to grow, and how we can continue providing students with excellent learning experiences.
We are proud to celebrate this recognition and what it represents: six schools working together as one Catholic Community Schools system, committed to learning, growth, and serving our students well.
