All Saints Academy–The Blessings of the School Garden
Summertime brought bountiful growth to the school garden at All Saints Academy. Last spring, STEM teacher Mr. Terhaar worked closely with students to plan, build, plant, and care for the space. Thanks to his leadership—and the dedication of summer volunteers—the entire school community now enjoys the fruits (and veggies!) of this labor of love.
Mr. Terhaar brings a deep passion for hands-on learning, from robots to roots! Now back in the classroom, he is weaving nutrition, sustainability, and garden visits into the lessons. Through this shared bounty, students not only enjoy healthy food they helped grow but also deepen their sense of wonder of God’s creation.
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
—Galatians 6:9
