St. Joseph School–Growth and Transformation
St. Joseph School is growing! For the first time in many years, the school welcomed enough new students to open a second section of kindergarten. With creative planning and a spirit of teamwork, the new classroom was ready just in time for the first day of school. Staff were thrilled to welcome this new group of wonderful students.
Recently, the kindergarteners participated in a hands-on science lesson exploring the life cycle of a butterfly. They observed tiny eggs hatch into caterpillars, watched them form chrysalises, and celebrated as Monarch butterflies emerged. When it came time to release them, many students found it hard to say goodbye. The project sparked curiosity, wonder, and joy—while offering a firsthand look at nature’s incredible process of transformation.
