All Saints Academy - Exploring Our Gifts in Learning, Faith, and Service
SPRING 2026 CCS NEWSLETTER
The first few months of the year at All Saints Academy have been rich with celebration, service, and joyful learning.
During Catholic Schools Week, All Saints Academy celebrated the theme “Life Is Sweet,” reflecting on the many blessings that make our school community so special. Candy-themed dress-up days, a life-size Candy Land game, and Wacky Wonka Day brought plenty of fun, while moments like a candlelit prayer service reminded us that the true sweetness of Catholic education comes from faith, friendship, and the support of our parish, families, faculty, and volunteers.
This year ASA introduced its first “Serving Saint”, honoring our cook and ASA alum Tommy Loehrer for his faithful service and joyful impact on the school community.
February brought I Love to Read Month, and students took part in the Reading Olympics, exploring literary genres and earning bronze, silver, and gold medals. Fifth graders also enjoyed their annual overnight environmental camp, building teamwork and environmental awareness while experiencing outdoor adventures like cross-country skiing, archery, and team-building activities.
Students continue to shine in leadership and STEM. The ASA Robotics Team had an incredible showing in their competition, tying for sixth in the elimination round and finishing 13th overall. Ellie’s Army, inspired by the memory of Ellie Sovada, encourages students to make everyone feel safe, welcomed, and included, with service activities such as baking bread for those in need.
As Lent unfolds, students are participating in Benjamin’s Box, placing prayers, small sacrifices, and acts of kindness into symbolic boxes to reflect on love and service. The school is also supporting the Pajama Project, providing new pajamas and children’s books to children in need. Weekly prayer services and Stations of the Cross help students connect their actions and reflections to Christ’s love. We look forward to the culmination of Lent during Holy Week, when our 5th graders will lead us in the Living Stations of the Cross, our school community will meet to celebrate a Seder meal, and we await Christ’s resurrection in our hearts during Easter.
