Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton School: End-of-Year News
Summer 2026 CCS NewsletterAs another school year came to a close, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton students enjoyed meaningful opportunities to grow in faith, learning, and community.
On April 10, students celebrated the Easter season during the “Alleluia!” retreat led by Christ Church Newman Center, focusing on the joy and love of Jesus through prayer, music, and activities. The afternoon featured engaging mini-courses led by nearly 20 community volunteers, including gardening, volleyball, School of Rock, painting, imagination art, and a technology-themed escape room. Students explored new interests while learning from grandparents, parents, and other members of the community.
Spring brought opportunities to learn about and care for nature as well. Kindergarten students eagerly watched six baby chicks hatch from eggs they had been incubating, bringing smiles, wonder, and hands-on learning to the school day. Our students also demonstrated their commitment to caring for God's creation on Earth Day by helping clean the school grounds and surrounding neighborhood, showing that even small acts can make a meaningful difference.
Later in the season, our annual Special Friends Day welcomed grandparents, relatives, neighbors, and godparents for Mass, school tours, activities, lunch, and the debut performance of our spring concert, SEAS Prays for Peace. Through music, students shared a message of peace, faith, and community with their guests.
We also celebrated several important faith milestones. Following their First Holy Communion, our second grade students planned and led the beautiful May Crowning Mass, continuing a cherished school tradition and honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary.
At the end of the year, we joyfully celebrated our 5th grade graduates as they left their elementary years behind and prepared to take the next step into middle school. We are proud of their growth in faith, learning, and leadership, and we send them forward with our prayers and best wishes.
