Deeply Rooted, Growing Stronger – Capital Campaign Update

SPRING 2026 CCS NEWSLETTER

The Deeply Rooted, Growing Stronger campaign continues to build strong momentum across Catholic Community Schools. Thanks to the generosity of families, alumni, and supporters, the campaign has secured $4,270,703 in commitments from 440 donors, with $1,689,750 already received.

The campaign is already delivering meaningful financial relief. This past year, all 12 of the $75,000 monthly loan payments for the Cathedral North Building have been covered through gifts—ten from the Deeply Rooted, Growing Stronger campaign and two from fulfilled pledges from the original capital campaign. This support has significantly reduced pressure on Cathedral’s operating budget, allowing more resources to remain focused on students and programs.

Through the campaign, CCS is able to invest in the continued growth of teachers across elementary, middle, and high school, ensuring strong formation for students at every stage of their education. Based on recent feedback from our educators, upcoming investments will focus on strengthening classroom implementation of LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling), supporting students’ emotional well-being, enhancing academic and behavioral supports, and using assessment data to ensure learning remains engaging, rigorous, and responsive to student needs.

Every gift made now goes twice as far.

This fall, the campaign received an extraordinary boost. The Cross Works Foundation committed up to $1,000,000 in matching funds, doubling new gifts over the next five years (up to $200,000 annually). To fully meet this year’s match, $83,023 remains to be raised by August 1, 2026.

If you’ve been thinking about giving, now is the perfect time. Your support helps us reach our $6 million goal, unlock matching funds, and strengthen Catholic education for generations to come.
