Welcoming Staff with Love

Though the closing of Saint Mary Help of Christians school is a deep loss, we remain profoundly grateful for the many blessings the school has brought to our students, families, and community. We are especially thankful for the dedication of its exceptional educators, whom we are honored to welcome into new roles within our CCS family. Their vocation will continue to shape young hearts and minds.

  • Coral Simones will join Cathedral in Campus Ministry

  • Amy Hurrle will join St. Joseph School in Kindergarten

  • Stephanie Fruth will join St. Joseph School in 3rd Grade

  • Brianna Hollenkamp will join St. Katharine Drexel in 3rd Grade

  • Nikki Fischer will join St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in 5th Grade

  • Meghan Hayenga will join St. Elizabeth Ann Seton as an Assistant Cook

  • Jessica Jacobson will join All Saints Academy in 4th Grade

  • Karl Terhaar will return to teaching at All Saints Academy in STEM

  • Kelly Kirks will join All Saints Academy as Principal

In addition to these staff members transitioning to new roles, we also welcome Amanda Gjerde back to Saint Francis Xavier. She will be returning to teach 3rd grade and be the school librarian.

We warmly welcome the students and families of SMHOC who will continue their Catholic education within our CCS schools. Their presence strengthens our community, and we are committed to supporting them through this transition with great care.
