St. Francis Xavier—Living the Theme: “In The One, We Are One”

At the start of the school year, SFX 5th graders brought the year’s theme—“In The One, We Are One”—to life in a creative and meaningful way.

Students designed and performed a presentation illustrating the many ways we are united. Using simple, relatable examples—like many soccer players forming one team, or many eggs making one dozen—they showed how individuals come together as one. From “many teachers make one school” to “many schools make one CCS system,” the message was clear: unity makes us stronger.

In the spirit of that message, the 5th graders also greeted every student at the door on the first day of school. Their warm smiles and kind words helped set the tone for a year rooted in community, care, and belonging.
