President’s Message - Hope, Joy, and the Gift of Finding Home

Winter 2025 Newsletter

“Christmas also reminds us…God comes to meet us at the very heart of our small stories.”
— Pope Leo XIV

As we move through Christmas and into a new year, I am grateful for the way our Catholic Community Schools keep reminding us what hope looks like in real life. It is not simply wishful thinking, but a steady confidence that God is at work—often quietly, and often patiently—bringing light, growth, and new beginnings.

A Place Where Families Find Home

I am truly inspired by what we learned from CCS families, teachers, and staff in a recent planning survey. They shared about how our schools are real places of faith and welcome, where families can truly find a home—a place where your child is known, where relationships matter, where prayer centers each day, and where we learn to see God’s goodness in one another.

That sense of belonging doesn’t happen by accident. It is built, day after day, through the love, professionalism, and commitment of our teachers and staff. It is accompanied by the steady leadership of our principals, and grown through the partnership and trust of our families.

With Gratitude

To our families: thank you for choosing Catholic education and for the sacrifices you make to do so.
To our faculty, staff, and principals: thank you for pouring your gifts into students with such care and faith.
To our supporters, parish partners, donors, alumni, and friends: thank you for investing in this mission and helping ensure our Catholic Community Schools remain strong, accessible, and full of opportunities for the families we serve.

Signs of Promise

As you read this newsletter, I invite you to look for the fruits of inspired learning across our schools. Along with accomplishments and successes, there is also something deeper: students growing in confidence, character, leadership, service, and faith.

These moments are signs of promise. They are reminders that what we are building together is real—and that hope is doing what hope does: giving rise to joy.

From all of us at Catholic Community Schools, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thank you for making this community possible, and may God bless your family with peace, joy, and a renewed sense of hope in the days ahead.
