Loving Learning Leading: President David Fremo's Summer Message
Summer brings the opportunity to reflect on the achievements of this past school year and to relax and enjoy the season’s blessings. It also rejuvenates and inspires future planning. Since becoming President of the Catholic Community Schools in January, I have witnessed incredible achievements and a true “culture of care” among our students, teachers, and staff at each of our seven schools. This is at the heart of what you will see in this newsletter.
Our unified branding celebrates that we are a Catholic school system of seven tremendous schools that provide a continuous journey from Preschool through 12th grade. CCS offers a comprehensive, holistic, faith-formed education that supports growth, development and moral formation at every stage of the journey. We are grounded in a culture of care and respect that reflects the teachings and example of Jesus. We proudly celebrate our Catholic faith, and we welcome others to learn, share and journey with us. CCS is committed to support all students as they pursue their purpose, passion, and potential.
This culture of care fosters a sense of ownership and belonging, creating strong relationships and enthusiasm. Our learning environments empower growth, innovation, critical thinking, and motivation, embodied in three core commitments in our Catholic Community Schools: Loving, Learning, Leading.
Loving: Our students are welcomed into a caring environment daily, inspiring everyone to be their best.
Learning: Students learn differently; and their educational journey is a personal one. Encouraging students to reach their full potential is achieved through differentiated learning and a whole-student approach.
Leading: The impact of our schools is measured over decades and generations. Our students and educators alike readily contribute knowledge, experiences and values that shape and benefit our local and greater community, preparing for the next generation.
None of this is possible without YOU, our dedicated parents, families, and caregivers. Your love and care ensure that our students will continue to flourish and impact their communities well into adulthood.
In gratitude,
